About us

Who are we?

We are here to help.

The employees in our sleep lab vow to diagnose and treat sleep disorders to increase the quality of life for those in need of our service. Our employees will treat, first, each and every individual with respect and care. We will continue to educate ourselves in the realm of sleep and pass our knowledge with gratitude to those that request our service.

It has been said, the quality of Man’s life is measured by the length of his/her breath. We take an average of 20,000 breaths per day. The quality and length of those breaths are directly related to our mood, energy and stress levels , to name a few.

With apnea , the mind and body are not in sync. The airway is closing, no oxygen is entering the body/mind, the heart rate is rapidly fluctuating and the healing powers of sleep are compromised.

Treatment benefits include: one’s mental health. Increased alertness and performance. Study after study show that driving skills are sharper, cognitive abilities are better, and memory improves with treatment of sleep disorders.

Additionally, treating a sleep disorder improves one’s immune system, increase’s the ability to fight off disease. Recent research has shown that when you are sleeping better, vaccines (like the flu vaccine) are actually more effective with more sleep.

Let’s face it, you look better, feel better and are a nicer person to be around when you have healthy happy sleep.

We at SCSL, believe: Sleep is a skill. One can learn to sleep better and one can, with the right treatment achieve: optimal sleep.
